observations on life

“Human Voices Wake Us And We Drown.”

Stealing from other writers isn’t always called plagiarism.  When poets do it as homage to the original, it’s called allusion.  I call it “quoting others who speak more eloquently than I do.”

I wake early, and notice it’s getting light.

Quickly, quickly now, back to sleep.

Later, some inner voice awakens me, and I fall into morning and drown.
